Travel Compensation Fund. Are you protected?

The Travel Compensation Fund (TCF) is important for leisure travellers, and you should make sure that whoever you book through is a member. It is the best way for you to reclaim any monies paid in the event of the supplier getting into financial trouble. No matter where you book, at a travel agents or on the internet, you need to be able to see a copy of their licence to make sure your money is safeguarded. The TCF applies to Australian businesses only; if you book on the internet, are you getting a foreign business with no cover? Our current licence is on display in our agency.
