Some help in choosing

Before we get to the links to the Cruise Operators I have compiled some links of cruise reviewers. I hope you find these helpful in choosing the most appropriate Cruise. Just click on the title to open in a new window. Please be aware that the description of the links below are my sole opinion and do not reflect upon the opinions or policy of Maleny Travel. I have viewed them as an internet and travel consumer, not as a travel consultant, which I'm not.
I would like to hear about any other resources which you think may help your fellow traveller.

www.cruisereviews.com
Easily the best review site around, and they've redesigned it to look nice, too. The navigation is clear and simple, though there are some advertising links to be aware of. I haven't found another site as comprehensive as this. The reviews seem to range from the gushing to the well balanced and informative. It is worth reading a variety of reviews to be able to judge the quality of reviewer as well as review.

www.cruisecritic.com
Nicer to look at than cruisereviews.com. Alas, they are on the hard sell and the site is cluttered by advertising banners. Ignoring the ads, which can be difficult, there is some useful information to be found. It has a nice graphical display for rating ships, an interesting set of menus for choosing the most appropriate cruise, and a range of editorials. The chat community is also active and worth a quick browse.

www.cruiseserver.net
This is the nicest site to look at, on the surface. Unfortunately it is mainly skin deep. The link provided above takes you straight to the review section, but the rest of the site is accessible from there. The reviews themselves are limited and brief. They are also followed by advertising for unrelated cruises. There are also banner ads at the top and bottom of the page for unrelated sites.

Cruise Operators
Below are links to the major cruise operators. Please remember that while some may give you the opportunity to book directly, you are better off getting unbiased advice from your travel agent. Their prices will also most likely be in US Dolllars.
